About This Project

Provide Your Kids Options!

First, talk to the career counselor at the high school. To earn the certificate, students must complete the requirements for a total of 156 hours, including a paid internship with local aerospace employers.

This program prepares graduating high school students with the skills and knowledge for a rewarding and sustainable career in aerospace manufacturing. This pilot project was created and endorsed by industry, government and education leaders for high school students in Davis and Granite School Districts. Starting in the fall of 2015, students may enter the program and expect to graduate in 2016 with an aerospace manufacturing certificate.
