About This Project
Albany Engineered Composites
You know what you want. To develop your skills, work with great people, have work-life balance, and run the company – right? We can’t guarantee the last one, but when it comes to giving you the freedom to dream and the power to do, we’re unlike any other company out there.
At Albany Engineered Composites aerospace manufacturing isn’t just a job…it’s a career. More than 500 employees work at two AEC facilities in Salt Lake City…and there’s room for more! We are growing and that means more opportunities to develop skills you can build upon, work with some of the most advanced equipment and processes in the industry, and begin your future in aerospace.
Every day is dedicated to producing the highest quality composite parts for our customers – including components for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the Airbus A380, the King Stallion CH-53K heavy lift helicopter, and the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II to name a few. We’ve worked hard for more than 40 years to build a customer base that reads like a “who’s who” in the industry and we are proud of it.
As leaders in fabricating composite structures, we offer the largest breadth of composite manufacturing processes in the industry – everything from precision hand layup and braiding, filament winding and resin transfer molding, to automated material placement. What does this mean for our employees? We provide opportunities to learn, grow, develop valuable skill sets and work on the worlds most advanced aircraft – all at one place – Albany Engineered Composites.
*In April of 2016, Exelis/Harris Aerostructures was acquired by Albany International, essentially doubling the growth potential of Albany Engineered Composites in this decade and resulting in industry leading breadth and depth of composite technology.
